Texas in a Year

It's been a long time... a really long time since I've written. Over a year! My last post was written on November 20, 2018. Today is December 10, 2019.... so, yeah... Let's just use this as en example. Y'all! (yep, I say that now) we just can't do it all! Sometimes things don't go according… Continue reading Texas in a Year

They have nice short lessons that teach proper grammar and give opportunities for creativity and writing. My boys look forward to the lessons and so do I. Today, my 5th grader brought me a little story that he… Continue reading English Lessons bringing out the Beauty

Spring Forward

I live in a bubble, surrounded by only what I choose to let in. I'm not sure how, or why I get to have this life. I know that it can all disappear in an instant. So, even on "tough" days like the day after the time change, I will choose to see the beauty life has to offer. I will choose to appreciate my life, my family, friends and home.Β
